By adhering to our investment planning process, we help ensure that all financial recommendations we make are consistent with our client’s goals and tolerance for risk. As we analyze their current situation and offer potential ways to improve it, we work through six key elements:


  1. Establish and define our client-advisor relationship.  Explain the overall process, address concerns, define responsibilities, and discuss compensation structure.
  2. Gather detailed financial data and define goals.
  3. Analyze and evaluate their financial status. Review documents and identify solutions for problem areas. Create appropriate strategies in the following areas:          

a.       Cash Flow Management
b.       Retirement Planning
c.       Asset Management
d.       Estate planning/wealth transfer strategies*
e.       Investment tax planning*
f.        Insurance planning**
g.       Education funding
h.       Charitable giving


  1. Develop and present the Investment Plan.  Prepare recommendations based on our analysis to address key goals and issues. Identify additional areas in need of review and incorporate them into future sessions.
  2. Implement planning decisions.  Outline the specific strategies, tools, and products we will utilize to structure the portfolio and to address related financial concerns.
  3. Establish milestones and monitor the plan.  Create a regular schedule for periodic reviews; provide detailed performance reporting and a written summary of each meeting.
